Because of the various field surveys in which we are involved we can arrange to attend to memorials in publicly accessible graveyards or cemeteries.
We can clean headstones of vegetation, including lichen, and report on the condition of the memorial in general. We will confirm what we have been able to do by returning a completed CMIAR RECORDING FORM. Additionally, we can return before and after images of the memorial on CD.
This service is available, at standard charges, for the County of Devon in England, and the Counties of Waterford and Tipperary in Ireland. In other areas additional charges for travelling will apply.
Requests for cleaning must be made by letter enclosing a cheque, payable to COASTAL RESEARCH, for one of the charges listed below. The letter must include instructions for locating the memorial.

This service may be appropriate for overseas families needing to obtain a transcription of a memorial. If a search has to be made for a memorial then we will have to apply additional charges.
