COASTAL RESEARCH has written most of the technical software it has used for its marine science work. Some of these mapping systems have been adapted for specific family history activities. We can construct software for a variety of purposes including:
 - Numerical simulation of environmental processes
 - Specific and extensible Data Browsers and data entry applications involving geo-indexing and mapping
 - Family History and Genealogy data display
 - Data encryption (ideosyncratic)
 - Text data formatters and converters
 - Co-ordinate transformation - both modern and historical datums

We have a lot of experience in software and scripting systems that work with ASCII text data. This means that data can always be read in Text Editors and can be made independent of Operating Systems and expensive applications.
